The President General had the privilege of hosting a delegation from the Ike Foundation for Autism at my office. This remarkable organization is dedicated to providing free services to special kids, facilitating their reintegration into society. With an established presence in Abuja, they are now expanding their reach into the South-South region of Nigeria, bringing hope and support to numerous families.
The visit coincided with the upcoming World Autism Day on April 2, 2025, and served as a poignant reminder of the importance of promoting inclusivity and understanding. The President General  expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Ike Foundation for their tireless efforts in supporting individuals with autism and their families.
He emphasized that special children in our society deserve compassion, acceptance, and support, rather than stereotypes and stigmatization. It is our collective responsibility to ensure that every citizen has access to the necessary resources and assistance.
He reassured the delegation of the Southern Nigeria Youth Congress’s commitment to supporting their noble endeavors. We recognize the value of collaborative efforts in creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for individuals with autism and their families.
The Ike Foundation’s dedication to fostering an inclusive society that understands and supports individuals with autism is truly commendable. We look forward to continuing our partnership and working together to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.
